-According to researchers, taking a one antioxidant and excluding others may be quite detrimental to one’s health because once an exclusive antioxidant neutralizes a free radical; it may be transform into a weakened free radical, itself. For example, the findings were found in smokers who took excessive doses of beta-carotene where the risk of lung cancer was heightened.
